­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­I. Job summary:   

Manage the team to make sure the asset management is compliant with company policy and Vietnam government’s regulations and all assets are under proper control not only in the paper/system but also physically. Ensure the depreciation expenses are calculated and charged correctly and timely. 

II. Job accountabilities;

• To make sure all fixed assets are labeled at office and store level
• Check documents when moving fixed assets from one place to another
• Check depreciation expense is reasonable expense in P/L by store
• Review fixed assets regularly to ensure the list of fixed assets match with current position at stores and office
• Check calculation of depreciation expense between accounting software and breakdown list of depreciation to make sure they match each other
• Review asset-taking schedule and conduct proper asset-taking
• Arrange meeting with auditor for asset-taking progress at the end of fiscal year
• Make sure assets are controlled as per company policy and Vietnam government’s regulation and make the adjustment in accounting book for tax purpose
• Prepare fixed assets movement
• Review renew insurance policy
• Updating regularly tax issues and VAS
• Follow up and propose the update for asset policy
• Review and reconcile the P/L and B/S before closing accounting book monthly
• Work with other related departments to resolve all the issues related to fixed asset management
• Work with external related authorities such as Tax Office, External Auditor…
• Other Ad-hoc tasks based on management requirement

III. Job requirements:

• University graduated, major in accounting, audit or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Good knowledge on related Vietnam regulations
• Good sense of physical fixed asset management
• Good at organizing, problem solving; quality, detail and action oriented.
• Good command on M.S office program especially spreadsheets and accounting system or software
• Able to work independently, high pressure
• Able to manage and support the staffs
• Good spoken and written
